Nicola grew up in Shepparton, studying ballet from the age of 4 and completing her Advanced 2 Certificate (RAD) with Distinction while in Year 12 at school. At age 18 Nicola moved to New York to pursue her passion for dance, securing a scholarship to study at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, learning many genres of dance and experience in musical theatre.

 

On completion of her studies, Nicola initially worked for Spirit Productions in the USA, then moved to Japan to dance at Tokyo Disney Resort. Following this she danced for 4 years, in 5 different shows with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines dancing Ballroom, Latin and Jazz styles.

 

Throughout Nicola’s career, pilates always played an important role in her training. She has continued this love of Pilates outside of dance, becoming a qualified Pilates (mat & reformer) instructor having gained a Certificate IV in Pilates. She is currently studying her Diploma.

 

Alongside pilates, Nicola still dances casually and is passionate about sharing her dance and pilates experience and knowledge.
