Emily Euman

I grew up in a small country town in Latrobe Valley, Victoria, and started dancing at 2 ½. I trained at Gippsland Academy of Dance for 8 years, excelling in competitions like the Morwell Festival of Dance and Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod, and won Champion Dancer at Follow Your Dreams. I also succeeded in the ATOD State and Australasian Ballet Scholarships, winning 1st Place in 2019.

At 14, I moved to Melbourne and trained at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School for 2 years, mentored by some of Australia’s most recognisable Ballerina’s & industry professionals including Madeline Eastoe and Timothy Harbour. I then focused on Commercial Jazz and Contemporary at Transit Dance Academy for Years 11 and 12.

I've been part of Dance Prescription for 4 years, assisting in various cities across Australia and on the 2023 UK Tour. In 2024, I began teaching private lessons at Dance Prescription and will continue into 2025, while also teaching group classes for the students aged 8-11. I have also taught at RISE, U CAN DANCE and NIPA.

In 2024, I was accepted into the Verdon Fosse Legacy Professional Training Program in NYC. I trained with renowned Fosse performers, enhancing my skills immensely. I performed as a background dancer for Tones and I's Aria Award-winning music video "Dance With Me," and as a featured dancer at the YPA Real Estate Awards and Sydney Children's Hospital Gold Dinner in 2024.

I have been the Ambassador & Senior team leader for RISE and performed in some of Australia’s most recognisable venues, including the Palms at Crown, the Palais Theatre, Melbourne Town Hall & The Star in Sydney. I have trained at the Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional course and I have been privileged enough to be a recipient of scholarships to Jason Coleman's Ministry Of Dance, Transit Dance, Dance World and most recently Brent Street Intensives.
